Virdee Protocol is a fitness studio based on an ancient method of training using the Mudgar from India and Central Asia. The classes utilize wooden clubs with various weights depending on the user’s ability. The protocol teaches different techniques to target all areas of the body and mind to help improve mobility, posture, focus, strength, and endurance in the practitioner. At Virdee Protocol, we are dedicated to providing exceptional service and education to all those who participate. The sessions are led by a qualified Virdee Protocol instructor; who will educate the class while also being aware of any limits a participant may have. What is mudgar training?

Mudgar training is an ancient method of training from India which utilizes a wooden club. The club is used in various swinging exercises that target overall strength, coordination, focus and mobility. The practitioner can use either a single club or duel clubs depending on their ability.

Can I take mudgar classes if I am pregnant?

Yes, you can take the classes if you are pregnant. The exercises are adjustable to meet your capabilities. However, it is important to seek medical clearance from your Doctor.

What do I need to bring with me to the class?

All you need to bring with you is a water bottle and yoga mat. Sweat towels will be supplied at the studio.

Can I do mudgar training if I have an existing injury?

It is not recommended that you do not participate in Virdee Protocol if you have an existing injury. Please seek medical clearance from your doctor before participating.

How early should you arrive?

You should arrive 5-10 min before the scheduled class time. You will not be allowed in the class if you are more than 10 min late.

What types of group fitness classes do you offer?

The classes will be offered according to age group: junior, general, and senior. They will have their respective routines address different exercises, paces, and breaks.

Do I need to be at a certain fitness level to join a class?

No, you can be at any fitness level and attend these classes. The classes are designed to be inclusive of everyone, and the instructor will provide alternatives as needed.

What is the class duration?

The classes are 60 minutes in length.

Are your instructors certified?

All instructors who teach the classes are certified through the Virdee Protocol Workshop.

Can I drop in for a class, or do I need to book in advance?

To keep classes running smoothly, you will need to pre-book in advance, either online or over the phone.

What is your cancellation policy?

Our cancellation policy requires 24-hour notice; otherwise, you will be charged a no-show fee.

Can I participate if I have a pre-existing injury or health condition?

We highly recommend that you seek approval from your physician before attending any of our classes.

What sets your group fitness classes apart from others?

The Virdee Protocol offers classes that exercise with Indian clubs. This is unique to the classes provided here at this studio and will offer a variety of exercises that you see in other fitness studios. The majority of the exercises here will focus on mobility, coordination, and strength in unison.
